I have co-authored 3 books on the State of Jefferson: IMAGES OF THE STATE OF JEFFERSON (2006) and THE STATE OF JEFFERSON: THEN & NOW (2008), by Arcadia Publishing and a new book, to be released this year: INNS AND EATERIES IN THE STATE OF JEFFERSON, by Old American Publishing. The THEN & NOW book placed as a Finalist in the 2008 Next Generation Indie Book Awards by the Independent Book Publishers for Best Regional Nonfiction. All 3 books feature vintage photos, many from private collections, as well as history of the movement and the area, including its geography and unique characteristics. This new book will also feature a chapter of recipes from the unique and historic inns and eateries around the region.
I also contribute to JPR's As It Was Series and a new monthly publication (free): JEFFERSON BACKROADS. For more on that, check out the website JEFFERSONBACKROADS.COM....
